What happens during the in-home verification appointment?

• Equipment capacity and compatibility with your home
• Anything that makes the installation more complex than standard

How the 15% Price Promise works

1. You build your price online. That price covers the furnace and a standard installation.
2. We verify in person. If anything beyond standard is needed, we explain and itemize it before you approve.
3. Your price is capped. For projects RBD accepts under the Price Promise, the final price will not exceed your online price by more than 15%.
4. You decide. No work begins without your approval.

The rare exception

Most installations fall comfortably within our 15% Price Promise. Very occasionally, we may uncover conditions that make a standard installation unusually difficult or expensive. If the verified project would require an increase greater than 15%, we’ll explain the conditions clearly and may provide a separate quote. You can choose whether to proceed, and RBD may also decide that the project is not a suitable fit. No work begins without your approval.

Frequently asked questions

Is my online price just an estimate?

No. It’s the price for the package you built. For projects RBD accepts under the 15% Price Promise, the final price will not exceed it by more than 15%, and any justified addition is shown to you before you approve.

Do I have to go ahead after the visit?

No. Booking a visit doesn’t commit you to anything, and no work begins without your approval.

What if my home needs more than 15% extra?

If rare site conditions require an increase greater than 15%, RBD may provide a separate quote or decline the project. You may also decline the revised quote without proceeding.
